Cracking me UP!

Seriously cracking me up. . .this little girl was killing me. She was the queen of faces and such a crack up. This photo shoot was a surprise for Dad and this little girl. Actually, she was a little disappointed the surprise wasn't a parade. . ."just pictures." It took her a few minutes to warm up and get over her disappointment but once she did she was unstoppable. Her faces were limitless. I had such a fun time getting to know this little family. Thanks for the fun time!

Friends.

Saturday, I had the honor of photographing two friends. I have known these two for several years now and they have been such a blessing to me and my family. Mrs. Dee is like an auntie to my kids and loves them to death. Thanks so much for letting me capture this time in your lives. . .it was definitely time for an updated picture. . .I think their last official pictures together, that I have seen, were their engagement pictures. . .and they have been married at least 12 years. ;)

Sisters.

These two sisters were so funny. Big sister was all girl. . .she loved showing off her dress and loved telling me about princesses. Here little sister was such a happy little girl. Whenever he parents talked to her she would clap her hands and smile so big. What a delight these too little princesses were!

Baby its cold outside. . .

Brrrrr...what a morning. The cold air was here and there was no denying that. This family sure was a trooper. The two little guys were not happy with the freezing wind but we were able to get some smiles. The littlest guy is almost one and was such a cutie with his big blue eyes. Big brother was 2 1/2. Big brother did great following directions and I loved his super big "CHEESE!" This family did great and thanks so much for braving the weather.

Park Wedding

This past Friday I was able to help a friend shoot a wedding. I've know Jen for a few years now but just recently found out we both have a love for photography. She just started a photography business too. It was great to get to hang out with her and help her capture this couple's special day. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Engagement Session. . .

Nope. Not quite. This wasn't exactly an engagement session. There was plenty of love but actually this couple has been married for almost 20 years. They were married in their early twenties and are still going strong. Its great to meet a couple like this since it seems like so many couples are struggling. It was so fun to hang out with these two and learn a little about them and their stories. Thanks for the fun shoot!

Serious Cuteness

Can you believe this little guys cuteness? I loved his blue eyes, light skin and little rolls. This 7th month old smiled and chewed like crazy. It took almost no effort to get a grin. I had a great time hanging out with this family and capturing this special time in their lives.
