Happy Birthday to YOU!

This weekend I had the pleasure of documenting a first birthday. It doesn't get better then cute kids and cake! This little cutie turned one a few weeks ago and Saturday was his big celebrate. Even with the unexpected snow, the house was full of people ready to celebrate. The partywas complete with balloons, decorations, food, friends and cake. The details were so well done and it was so obvious this little guy is so loved. Here is a little peek of the party.

Birthday Boy. . .

This little guy just turned 1 this month. We have been trying to get his session done for the pass few weeks but every time we would schedule something the beautiful weather would turn. Yesterday we were able to finally do a short session. . .and look at this cutie. If he looks a little familiar its because we did his six month pictures last summer. They were some of my favorites. He was such a good sport even with the crisp air. Happy 1st Birthday!

1st Wedding of the Year. . .

Ahhhh. . . what a day. The day before this wedding was rain and the day after was rain but the day of. . .well, not a drop of rain until it had gotten dark and we were all in the reception tent. It worked out perfectly. I don't know how many times I had checked the weather before the big day. The day was lovely.

There were so many people who loved this couple. The wedding party was huge! The bride and groom choose not to see each other until the ceremony, which I love. Its so much fun to see the look on their emotion filled faces as they look at each other for the first time.

We had plenty of time between the ceremony and the reception for pictures. Everything that day was with in walking distance to each other which was nice. The bride had planned everything perfectly.

The reception tent was amazing. I loved the decorations hanging from the ceiling. All the details were a pretty shade of purple. The tent looked so lively and happy. . .even with the rain that poured later that evening.

I had a great time getting to know this couple over the the past few months. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture your special day!

Lucky Me

This afternoon I had an engagement session with this fun couple. Its always so fun to hang out with a couple knowing that I will get to document their special wedding day later in the future. This couple were great sports and open to ideas. . .even though we had some major wind to deal with the session turned out great and I enjoyed every moment of it.
